   We have developed an extensive Environmental Management System that ensures we consistently meet the highest environmental standards. And we are committed to continual improvement, through regular audits of our environmental practices and a state-of-the-art tracking system that monitors every aspect of our operations.

Hayes Environmental Policy
Hayes provides a full range of forest and helicopter services including all phases of conventional and helicopter logging, forestry and engineering, timberland management, fire-fighting, heavy equipment repair and overhaul, helicopter component and airframe overhaul and other helicopter services.
   Our success in all things is dependent on our commitment to the best operating and environmental practices.
   Environmental performance excellence and continual improvement will be achieved through the empowerment of our employees and suppliers to prevent pollution and comply with all relevant laws and regulations, and through training and participation in adaptive environmental management procedures, programs and monitoring.

ISO 14001 Registration
In September 2002 Hayes’ Environmental Management System was registered to ISO 14001 – the worldwide standard for environmental management established by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).
   ISO 14001 registration confirms that Hayes is committed to best environmental practices. While the Company has complied with its customers’ ISO standards for years, Hayes is among the first forest services providers in BC to seek its own registration.
