Hayes has developed the most comprehensive forest services offering
available from any single supplier in British Columbia.
In 1989, we began to broaden our services offering so that our customers
could enjoy “one-stop” service. Starting as a provider of
conventional, ground based logging services (“Stump to Dump”
contractor), we have expanded our services to now include helicopter
logging, forestry and engineering and all other phases of timber
management (“Tree to Mill” contractor).
Applying Sophistication to a Traditional Industry
The logging industry has remained extremely traditional and has been slow
to change and evolve. As a strategic goal initiated in 1989, Hayes was
determined to apply a higher degree of sophistication to its business.
