Dryland Sorting
Hayes builds, maintains and operates many dryland sorts to a variety of customer specifications and requirements. Our fleet of wheel and hydraulic log loaders and experienced operators allow us to quickly adapt to changes in sort specifications and processing volumes. 
   With full scaling, log inventory and market specific manufacturing, our Dryland Sort operations provide a vital phase for the optimization of log values in the marketplace. We work extensively with log supply and log market experts to optimize sorts for specific mills or customers. We routinely manage all aspects of sort cut-offs and produce high quality reports to various customer specifications. 
   We work frequently with third party mills, truckers and log brokers. We also buy logs at many of our sort operations.
   Our preventative maintenance program helps to maximize equipment availability and minimize downtime.
